Just over a year following the closure of UK developer Realtime Worlds, All Points Bulletin, the crime faction title largely responsible for killing them, is being reborn under the name APB Reloaded as a free-to-play MMO available for Steam.
After Realtime Worlds’ demise in September 2010, the game rights were purchased for approximately $2.5 million by K2 Network, a California-based company specializing in MMO titles. In its new iteration, APB Reloaded is being launched by Reloaded Productions, a K2 subsidiary.
Free-to-play or not, and while I am intrigued to discover just what exactly went wrong with this title, it is my responsibility as the disseminator of this news to inform you that the original version of APB garnered a Metacritic average of just 58%, and was bad enough to run its developer into the ground. Publisher THQ announced Red Faction: Battlegrounds, a new game in the universe of Red Faction. In Battlegrounds you have to fight in an arena. THQ has registered a domain name specifically for the game. Battlegrounds will be available only for download on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. The release date is not yet known. Remember that THQ is developing a brand with might and main Red Faction: making a new part of the original game and is preparing to shoot a movie.
Ubisoft revealed two new characters in the game Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. They turned out to be a blacksmith and a soldier. All the 2 characters will be added to the updated list of heroes, and also they will be available in the beta multiplayer test for the PS3, which will be held in September.

Six thousand former NFL players are suing the publisher Electronic Arts for publishing their prototypes without their permissions in the game Madden NFL 09.
